Joytown’s brightest annual event is back for a third year to honor the Summer Solstice, a celebration of abundance, light, and vitality. This is our one gathering a year designed to welcome a larger number of Joytown community, friends, and family - it is a celebration of our tribe, not a facilitated journey.
WHY
This magical time marks the longest day of the year, a moment when we are blessed with the sun's full presence and energy. As the sun reaches its highest point in the sky, we are reminded of the power and warmth that fuel our passions and guide our dreams.
This celebration is not just about acknowledging the sun’s journey, but also about recognizing the light within ourselves and our community. We designed this event as an offering of our gratitude, to all of you who have supported Joytown and the humans who are creating it. This takes a village and we couldn’t do it without each person’s love and support of us and the larger vision! We love you!
MUSIC
This Solstice, we will be celebrating the two year anniversary of Joytown! And we will have a very special live sound journey with Random Rab!
WHEN
This event lasts approximately 24 hours, with an arrival time after 2pm on Saturday, June 21st and departure anytime after brunch on Sunday, June 22nd.
We will send out a detailed schedule and much more info in a welcome letter a few weeks before the event! We hope to see you here!
EXCHANGE
We will provide food, ritual, live music, endless cuddle puddles under the aspens and community brunch the next morning on our glorious deck with its jaw dropping views and plenty of places to curl up with community. We have two price options with different lodging options:
Sleep in ceremony spaces, outside on one of our gorgeous verandas, or bring your own tent - $200 SOLD OUT
A comfortable bed in one of our beautiful shared bedrooms - $400 SOLD OUT
Both options include a delicious community brunch on Sunday morning! We can’t wait to celebrate the longest day of the year with you!
ATTIRE
Embrace the vibrant spirit of summer with your attire, as comfortable and/or expressive as you desire. Glitter and face paint will be available for those feeling extra creative!
RSVP
Given the intentionality of this event, your RSVP and full payment are due by May 1st (we expect this to fill soon as it has sold out the past two years) in order to accommodate the comfort of all those attending. Capacity for this event is 60 participants.
